What you are buying
A personalised video of Santa speaking to your child, made from the answers you give us when you order. It is digital content: a file you watch through a private link and can download. There is no physical product and nothing is posted to you.
Price and payment
One video is £19.99. The family pack is £49.99 and covers up to three children, each with their own video and their own answers, at that price whether you add one, two or three. Prices are in pounds sterling.
FullDiary Limited is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and none is shown. Payment is taken at the time of ordering by our payment provider.
How the video is made
The script is written from the details you give us, and Santa's voice and picture are generated rather than filmed. There are no actors. Santa is a computer generated character.
Because the video is built from what you type, it will repeat what you type. If a name is spelled wrongly on the form, it will be spelled wrongly in the video, which is why there is a free remake below.
Delivery
We email a private link to the address you gave us. Most videos are ready within an hour and every video is ready within 24 hours of ordering. The link lasts 90 days, so download the video if you want to keep it.
Your right to change your mind
This is digital content supplied on demand. When you place the order and tick the consent box, you ask us to start straight away and you accept that you lose the 14 day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once we have started.
Our own policy below is more generous than that, and nothing here affects your statutory rights.
Refunds and putting things right
- Nothing arrives within 24 hours. Tell us and we refund you in full.
- We got it wrong. If the video has a mistake we introduced, such as the wrong name, another child's details or a technical fault, you get a full refund. If you would rather have the video, we will remake it free instead.
- You typed something wrongly. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will remake the video once, free of charge.
- A correct video has been delivered and downloaded. There is no refund at that point, because what you bought has been supplied.
To ask for any of these, email hello@sleighbellstudios.co.uk and quote your order reference. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five working days.
No promise of presents
Santa talks warmly about what your child is hoping for. He never promises that anything will arrive, and nothing in the video is a promise by us, or by you, that any particular present will be given. What appears on Christmas morning is entirely your decision.
What we ask of you
You confirm that you have parental responsibility for every child in the order, and that the details you give us are yours to give.
Please do not submit anything upsetting, offensive, or about someone who has not agreed to it. We may refuse an order, or cancel and refund one, where the answers are not suitable for a children's video.
If something goes wrong
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the order.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may bring a claim in your own local courts.
